ABOUT ME
Creating art has always been at the heart of my journey, my passion for drawing naturally led me into the tattoo industry. Over the years, I’ve been influenced by many, but none more so than my grandmother’s collection of Japanese and Chinese art, which inspired me to develop my own style of Japanese-inspired florals. These floral pieces have been pivotal in shaping my unique approach to tattooing. The flowing lines of flowers taught me the basics of tattooing & how to accentuate the natural curvature of the body.
My passion for cultural art is complemented by a deep admiration for Black and Grey portraiture, especially of women. It was my love for Black and Grey art that ultimately led me to tattooing. Over time, I’ve come to appreciate the West Coast roots of Black and Grey tattooing, with its emphasis on fine lines and soft shading—key elements that are integral to my work. This fusion of influences has helped me develop a distinctive style that blends traditional Japanese and Chinese art with a West Coast flair.
While floral tattoos are one of my specialties, I’m always open to collaborating on a wide range of subjects in Black and Grey. Currently, I’m interested in body-enhancing florals, ornamentals, realism, and Japanese and Chinese art.
Most of my tattoos are hand-drawn directly onto the skin and designed the day of the appointment. However, depending on the complexity, detail, and size of the piece, there may be additional time required before the appointment to ensure the design is perfectly tailored for each client.
